As laser powder bed fusion parts become more common, larger, and more complex, a new approach to depowdering is needed.

This is where Solukon’s SFM-AT1500-S comes into play. Specially designed to clean the largest possible LPBF parts, like rocket componentry, this machine is loaded with cutting-edge technology to ensure flawless results every time.

For large parts impossible to clean by hand

Solukon’s largest machine can handle parts up to 1,500 mm in height and up to 2,100 kg in weight. But, despite this capacity, the machine remains extraordinarily compact and easy to operate.

The machine’s structure is flat, needing no platforms, and parts can be loaded from either the top or the front of the machine, depending on their weight and shape.

Built for safety

Safety remains Solukon’s top priority with the SFM-AT1500-S. Explosion protection is assured thanks to safety-monitored inertisation and an ignition-free design. Discharged powder can be safely removed with the SFM-PCU powder collection unit, reducing risk to staff and the environment. 

Made for results

Even the most intricate components with complex challenges can be effortlessly cleaned thanks to SPR-Pathfinder® software. This automated system removes manual programming and instead depowders parts through endless 2-axis rotation. The machine also features manual depowdering with gloves and compressed air, or via joystick control of the swivel device.
