Tried and tested experts in wet cleaning, Karl Roll is renowned for its reliable solvent and aqueous plants, which encompass hydrocarbon cleaning agents, modified alcohol, perchloroethylene, and detergent-based cleaning methods.

For 70 years, Karl Roll has designed their parts cleaning systems to fit seamlessly into the different stages of your manufacturing processes. In their words, they see cleaning as an ‘enhancement stage’ that improves component quality.

You’ll also find pass-through spray plants in the Karl Roll machine roster, as well as bespoke systems designed to exact specifications.

The RCTS Advantage 2 is an excellent addition to our production operations here at Tenable; it represents our first modified alcohol 1601 cleaning machine. This investment is a long-term strategic decision for us based on the increasing demand from certain industries which require modified alcohol as opposed to alternative solvents. As a sub-contractor, it is key for us to be able to cater to as many of our customers’ specific requirements as possible.

Solvent Plants

Discover single-chamber flooding plants for non-halogenated solvents, modified alcohols, and halogenated hydrocarbons with all solvents used perfectly adapted to cleaning a multi-material work in the same load.

Machine spotlight: Non-Halogenated Solvent Machines

Flexible, versatile, and highly eco-friendly, Karl Roll’s non-halogenated solvent plants operate with standard hydrocarbons and modified alcohols to provide powerful cleaning results with reduced risk to the planet and your people.

Like all Karl Roll solvent systems, these plants operate under a low 100Mbar  vacuum, ensuring all safety standards are met.

Components can be immersed or sprayed with hot solvent, degreased with solvent vapour, and dried under vacuum to below 5Mbar, guaranteeing every angle, pore, and surface leaves the machine spotless.

Machine spotlight: Halogenated Solvent Machines

Where the contamination removed is predominantly non-polar (oils and greases, etc.), Karl Roll’s Halogenated Solvent Plants operating with perchloroethylene or methylenechloride are a great option.

They operate similarly to non-halogenated systems, but with the addition of a carbon capture and regeneration unit.

All Karl Roll systems are great all-rounders used across industries with diverse materials and products.

Exceptional cleaning and drying results.

Great for ultra-fine cleaning, even bulk loads with thin-walled high surface area components.

Heat recirculation minimises running costs.

Fast cycle times in as little as 5 minutes per load.

Self-cleaning separates and discharges all oils and water entering the system.

The solvent remains clean and operational for years, meaning minimal downtime for bath exchanges.
