The Ultrasonic
Force....
Ultrasonic cleaning machines
apply high frequency sound energy to liquid at levels that create 'cavitation'
in that liquid. The sound waves (made up of moving high & low
pressure zones) causes millions of microscopic bubbles to form and
implode, according to the power and frequency of the ultrasonic energy.
The bubbles form when the drop in pressure in the liquid causes it to
vapourise. They quickly implode when the pressure rises during the
cycle of the wave pattern and, although the bubbles are tiny the forces
they exert are high. It is this that gives the 'scrubbing' action
on the components.
An ultrasonic 'generator' provides the appropriate electrical output to
the transducers. The latter are positioned on the tank walls or in
submersible boxes and they impart the ultrasonic energy to the
liquid.

Specification:
The tank and lid are made from
stainless steel. The temperature and treatment time are easily
adjusted with the electronic control panel.
Typical cleaning times vary from 30 seconds to 5 minutes. The
treatment time can be stored in the control panel and restarted by the
ultrasonic button.
Use of a detergent:
•
reduces surface tension and intensifies ultrasonic cavitation.
•dissolves
and binds the dirt which has been loosened by the ultrasonics.
Component Cleaning trials:
Turbex regularly undertakes
component cleaning trials to help our customers decide what would be
their best cleaning option. If you would like to carry out some of
these trials with your components, please contact us at the following
address: sales@turbex.co.uk or
alternatively, you may like to send the components to us for
trials. We will in turn, clean them and then return them to you
with a report.

The m-03, m-08 & m-20
Ultrasonic appliances for precision cleaning in laboratories, optics,
dental and health care, printing industry, watchmaking, jewellery and
all kinds of precision mechanics

The picture above shows the three
different sizes this machine comes in.

The m-03 model:

These pictures show how the machines can be used with either a
basket or glass beakers for smaller components, thus enabling them to
easily meet your component cleaning requirements.
